Item Description
7.5" wide by 7" tall tin litho w/nice image of Chaplin smoking cigar while riding bicycle. Unlicensed and sold as "Slippery Slim," toy is attributed to the A.C. Gilbert Co. c. 1920s. Bottom has a 6" long hanger wire holding the original round weight. Wheels are grooved to rest on a tight string and the figure has riveted joints at arms and legs allowing it to move as if peddling as it moves across the string. Color variety w/orange wheels. Bit of wear to frame and legs. Fine.
