9x11" hardcover w/dust jacket has 88 pages. Printed for the 50th anniversary of the classic animated film by Simon & Schuster, Inc. ©1987 The Walt Disney Co. This superb book presents seldom seen art and design work. Front endpaper has been signed by four Disney Studio animators - Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston, Marc Davis and Maurice Noble. Of this group, Johnston, Thomas and Davis belong to the prestigious group known as "Disney’s Nine Old Men," Walt Disney’s most important animators, responsible for the creation of many Disney classics. Noble was responsible for background design on Snow White and went on to work on other Disney features. Thomas has signed in blue ink, the others in black felt tip pen, w/Davis' signature aging slightly around ink. Signature page o/w remains NM w/bold signatures. Book itself is Exc. DJ shows wear/aging and is Fine. Signed in person and comes with Hake’s COA.
