15" tall painted composition. 1950s. Base has embossed silver luster letters reading "Hopalong Cassidy" and sides read "Timex." Lettering below reads "Shock Resistant Wrist Watches" on front and "Fully Guaranteed" on sides. Back of base has black "These Sales Aids Must Be Used For The Display Of Timex Watches Only." Nicely painted and detailed figure of Hoppy w/accents to face, bolo tie, belt buckle, guns, bullets, etc. Even the tops of his boots are highlighted in silver luster. Bullets are accented all the way around back of belt. Scarf in bolo tie is also accented. Scattered crazing mostly to small area on front of neck and scattered areas on legs. Hat, face, shirt, hands, guns show scattered lt. wear. Base has moderate spiderwebbing to paint only noticeable upon close inspection. Superb display piece and high quality. Structurally sound and Fine. We have only offered four of these displays in our 46 years, our last example selling for $4,174. One of the ultimate Hopalong Cassidy items.
