Item Description
12.25x16.25" wood veneer frame has a few chips but still in nice condition with original brass hanger at top. Reverse has cardboard backing but no wood board. Print is beautifully hand-colored and totally clean. In addition to Currier's 1848 copyright text, the bold text below image reads: "Wm. O. Butler - Democratic Candidate For Vice President Of The United States." Actually much rarer than the several 1848 jugate prints showing both Cass and Butler. A beautiful example.
