Esquire Novelty Co. ©1952. Size Small. Box is 12x14.5x2-5/8”deep thin cardboard w/nice lid graphics of Flash at lower left and various spacecraft. Lid top has slight warp, but VF. Shirt measures 14.5” long and is almost entirely comprised of suede-like material with linen backing. Has red piping accents and shoulder pieces are thin blue plastic. Has attached belt unit with silk-screened design on front of Flash Gordon on a rocket firing raygun with name on either side. Shirt has scattered fading, and unfortunate but unavoidable damage to thin plastic shoulder areas due to aging over the years. Otherwise Fine. No other contents. Nicely designed group, including exceptionally rare box.
