Item Description
28x41” c. 1920. Printed by National Printing & Engraving Co. #012768-A. Superb art image of Boob about to be hit by policeman’s billy club as he’s sneaking a peek at women in bathing suits by a pool. Upper left has text “Rube Goldberg’s Musical Comedy Surprise.” Poster has had edge tear repairs and color touch-ups, most noticeable on black area. All restoration has been professionally done, and poster now has a bright and Exc. appearance. Best known for his “inventions”, cartoonist Rube Goldberg did the Boob McNutt comic strip between 1915 and 1934. Superb for display.
