Item Description
11.5x14.25x.75" deep original mailer box with "Star Wars" tape seal contains 11x14" exhibitor mailer w/28 pages and 8.5x11" program. Advance 1977 promotional kit for upcoming release of George Lucas' sci-fi classic. Box's tape seal has been opened and has a few color rubs. Box is evenly aged and Fine. Exhibitor mailer has numerous full color images from the film and includes letter from Lucas, character bios and a brief synopsis. Of note, the "Star Wars" logo features early "Pointy W" style logo and the climatic lightsaber duel between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan is shown, the characters hold sticks, the light effects were added post-production. Light handling wear to a few pages, but o/w NM. Four-page program lists cast and crew. NM. Great pre-release item.
