©1948 KFS. 10-7/8x18x1" deep cardboard box has nice lid graphics of Popeye, Olive Oyl, Wimpy and Swee'Pea playing actual game. Lid has lt. wear at edges and age spotting, but Fine overall. Complete w/instructions. Includes six 7x8" to 6.5x9.5" die-cut heavy cardboard figures w/slotted wood blocks for each to stand. Includes Swee'Pea w/racket, Popeye blowing bubbles, Swee'Pea fishing, Wimpy w/hamburgers, Olive Oyl gardening, and Popeye holding large can of spinach. Gameplay similar to Tiddlywinks. Standee figures show wear at base attachment areas, Popeye w/bubbles has heavy crease in bubble device and surface paper breaks. Displays Fine. Other figures are VF/Exc. Comes w/wooden playing pieces and instruction sheet. VF/Exc. Box also contains small Parker Brothers catalog. Nice set w/great design and superb graphics by Bud Sagendorf.
