Item Description
From 1966. 10x10x10.25" tall base w/attached 27.5" tall wooden arm and 11.25" long rod suspends 4-3/8" tall Batman plastic figure attached to 27" plastic parachute over electric motor-driven fan that causes chute to deploy and demonstrates how toy works to prospective buyers. Reverse of base has two paper labels, one w/instructions for set-up, the other showing how to control flow of air w/provided sliding vents on bottom. Two sides of base have 5.25x9.5" cardboard panels reading "Official Batman" w/comic book logo/title. These show wear w/color rubs and scratches. Light oxidation to wire covering over fan. Batman is missing thin plastic cape but this could easily be replaced. See carded examples # 2526-2527. Overall, display works and is Fine. Rare, one of only two examples we know of.
