Item Description
7.5x22” thin art board has 5.75x19.5” India ink image area w/four panels for Nov.8. Storyline has Archie w/Jughead talking to overly intelligent Dilton Doiley who is taking Home Economics. They find it funny until they see the new replacement teacher, Miss Shapely. Last panel has Betty and Veronica and friends telling Principal Mr. Weatherbee “We Want To Take Wood Work! There Are Too Many Boys In Home Economics!” Art is signed in ink by creator Montana in last panel. Complete w/syndicate copyright sticker in panel two. Bottom of image area has ruled line for smaller size printing purposes in smaller newspapers, and there is some glue residue extending just a bit into bottom image area, otherwise VF. A prime early example.
