8.25x11" bound program for May 13, 1972 Friars ceremony honoring Jack Benny and George Burns w/"Entertainer Of The Year" awards that took place at the Americana Hotel in New York City. Cover was specially designed by Peter Max and has image of Benny and Burns entitled "Celestial Clowns." Program is littered w/bw photos of Friars Club members and honorees and has many advertising pages dedicated to Benny and Burns. KFS has page w/images of Popeye, Beetle Bailey, Mandrake the Magician, The Phantom, Blondie, Flash Gordon and Prince Valiant and mentions The Beatles Yellow Submarine animated feature. Hirshfield, Blondie, Donald Duck, Henry, Barney Google, Archie, Popeye, and Phantom each have one-page cartoons. Covers show some wear and are Fine. Contents Exc. Very limited print run.
