Dated 6-13-41. 4-7/8x7.25” “Payment To Artists” voucher filled out in pencil with his name and list of seven different stories written entirely in Siegel’s handwriting . List includes price for two different “Star Spangled Kid” stories, one w/14 pages for $70, the other for nine pages for $45. These are most certainly for the very first “Star Spangled Kid” stories, as the character first appeared in “Star Spangled Comics”# 1 Oct. 1941. Other stories listed include: ”Spectre, Fed. Men, Spy, Slam Bradley, Radio Squad”. Total payment due is $182. Upper right has pencil date by Siegel, second ink date in another hand w/check # 1895. Line eight has title erased, otherwise Exc. An historic document listing more titles than usually seen.
