Item Description
Lot of 5 issues published by Eastern Color Printing Company (Famous Funnies) between July 1941 and September 1943. Issues include 2-6 of a six issue run. Issue 2 has cover art by Dick Calkins and a bw ad on inside front cover for "Buck Rogers Solar Scouts" w/illustrations of five different premiums including pins, badge and Ring of Saturn. Issues have varying degrees of handling wear and dust soiling. Issue 2 has piece off of cover on upper right corner and is G+, Issue 3 is the standout copy with bright colors and is Fine/VF, Issue 4 is Good+, Issue 5 is Fine and Issue 6 has moderate wear including chips to detached cover and aging. Fair/Good. Overstreet Price Guide value in stated conditions exceeds $1,000.
