Box has original insert to hold the various pieces in place. Has some stray paint marks and 4" surface paper lift at top center. VG. Box bottom remains free of splits w/tiny 1/8" hole from peg on underside. Fine. Lid shows lt. corner tip wear and some color rubs at edges with .25x.5" and .5x1" area of color touch-ups as well as .75x.75" area of scattered surface paper lift from price tag removal w/some ink touch-ups. Overall, lid remains bright and clean. Fine. Box is in nicer condition than usually found. Vise shown on lid is missing as are three unpainted lead figures that came as sample of what you were to make and "pigs" of casting metal. Rest of set consists of electric upright casting ladle w/base, pair of wooden handles, bottle of paint and paint brush. Also has two-piece mold used to cast 2.5" tall figures of Flash Gordon on horse, Dale and Patrolman. Flash Gordon sets are pictured and described in the accompanying 4.5x7.75” 32-page instruction book/catalog. Booklet also shows two different Mickey Mouse sets plus many other box sets/additional molds. Moderate handling wear w/creases and tears. VG. Contents show general wear from use but no serious defects and molds are Fine.
