West has slightly altered the set-up of this scene, stretching it out for more of a landscape view whereas the original comic cover was more compact. Art features Doctor Strange facing off against the Living Gargoyle, blasting the advancing monster w/the mystical Eye of Agamotto as a stunned Gypsy Queen lays at his feet. Story was entitled "Portal To The Past" in which Strange gets captured by the Gypsy Queen, making him transport them to Baron Mordo's castle for battle, Gypsy Queen having been seduced and tricked by Mordo.
