Item Description
c. late 1950s for puppet character on Philadelphia TV station WRCV-TV. 9.25x11.25” sealed vinyl bag w/header card has board w/puppet character's photo and puppeteer w/text “Lee Dexter’s Big Rascals.” Contains punch-out card w/character images and die-cut building insert piece. Header card is lightly creased, bag is a bit cloudy. Packaging Fine overall w/Mint contents. Bertie was based on a mythological Australian creature, a cross between a Collie dog, bunny, and duck billed platypus. Rare and first we’ve seen in our 46 years.
