Item Description
1944. U.S. Government Printing Office. 10x14.25” folded as issued poster opens to 28.5x40”. Titled “That’s The Spot To Hit !”, poster has superb art by John Falter w/Nimitz pointing to center of bullseye at Tokyo on map. Bottom has text “Give Us The Stuff And We’ll Hit It !” Lt. wear at fold intersections, hairline color rubs along some fold lines. Top has bit of insect damage in 6” area, lower left has 3” tear, both repaired on reverse w/ cellophane tape. Overall VG. A classic.
