Item Description
Two 6x9.25" hardcover volumes containing 234 pages and 243 pages. Published by Falk Publishing Co. in 1922. These books were "Used As A Supplementary Text In New York Institute Of Photography." Titles include "Motion Picture Directing" and "Screen Acting." Both were written for up-and-coming directors and actors/actresses. The "Screen Acting" book was written w/assistance of Lillian and Dorothy Gish and many other notable actors and actresses of the time. Books feature several full page bw plates including director Cecil B. DeMille and silent screen star Rudolph Valentino. Pages have some lt. aging to margins w/some brittleness in these areas. All pages are complete and intact, in VF condition. The covers have some edge wear to spine and corner tips but remain intact. Fine.
