Item Description
Lot consists of six 11x14" cards. First in lot is from the 1919 United Artists film "His Majesty, The American." Card has lt. aging and handling wear, .25x3" chip at top right corner. Smaller chip at top middle margin and along upper left corner. VG to Fine. Second card is for the 1919 film "Don Q Son Of Zorro." Features film image of Fairbanks as Don Cesar de Vega w/off-set image of Fairbanks as the son of Zorro on right margin. Third and fourth cards are for the 1920 classic film "The Mark Of Zorro." Third card is the title card which features silhouette image of Fairbanks as Zorro on his horse Toronado. Handling wear including .5" chip to bottom right corner and pin holes. Fourth card is for same film and features image of Zorro w/woman. Lt. aging and handling wear. Fifth card is for the 1921 film "The Three Musketeers" and features image of woman pleading w/Fairbanks w/smaller off-set image of a sword duel. Lt. spotting and tack holes in each corner. Cards are Fine. Last card is for the 1922 film "Robin Hood" featuring image of Fairbanks kneeling before Lady Marian. Smaller off-set image of Fairbanks in traditional Robin Hood costume w/sword is at right margin. Moderate tanning, tack holes along margins, a 1" tear at upper right corner, 1/8x.25" chip at top center margin. Main image and smaller off-set image are unaffected by these defects and still display nicely. VG.
