Item Description
.5" square by .5" thick diamond-shaped glass cube with a tin band around the side edges and loop at top for suspension, in this case holding its original woven fabric cord. On the interior surfaces of the glass, in brown against white backgrounds are crisp portraits of Harrison on the front and his 1892 running mate on reverse. Couple of extremely tiny slivers off the side edges of the glass cube, probably as made, but all edges and corners remain extremely sharp. Totally clean. One of the few 1892 items to picture both candidates and our first with bright original cord. Sen. Charles Dick Collection.
