Item Description
Lot of three 20x29" paper posters advertising Rajaratnam Fireworks Industries of Sivakasi, South India. c. late 1950s. First poster advertises "Standard Fireworks" and shows Indian woman posing in front of exploding fireworks, smaller inset images of individual fireworks sold by the company at left. Next poster also advertises "Standard Fireworks" and shows Indian woman holding sparklers as fireworks explode in bkg. Inset image of sparklers in box at lower right. Last poster advertises "Rajaratnam Fireworks" and shows image of a startled young Indian girl watching strand of firecrackers she's holding explode. Images of factory and pack of firecrackers at upper left. Folded as issued, but all Exc./NM w/wonderfully vibrant graphics. See following item #861.
