Item Description
1.75" in thick chocolate bronze with small loop on top rim that swivels. Front has busts and reads "John Adams 1800/William McKinley 1900." Reverse shows lower small image of building captioned "United States Capitol 1800." Above is image of the building as we know it today with text above and at center of the medal "United States Capitol 1900/Commemorative Of Establishment Of The Capital In The District Of Columbia." The reflective finish has about 5% dullness on front and back along one edge but really only detectable in certain light angles. Scarce and Extremely Fine.
