9/16" fabric stickpin holds 2.75" black fabric mourning bow to which is pinned a rarely seen 7/8" real photo portrait button captioned "In Memoriam." Button has backpaper with patent date but no maker name. Rare and NM. Sen. Charles Dick Collection. See item #699 a McKinley dated stickpin produced for his Buffalo NY Pan Am Expo visit rather than as a post-assassination memorial item.
