Item Description
The Hake guides picture six different Wilson and Pershing jugates but this is an unlisted variety. Most in the book are 1.25" but this is a larger 1.5" design. Text reads "Welcome Our Boys Home 1919." No backpaper, probably as issued, with faint stain traces around the reverse collet but only the very slightest traces showing on the extreme upper and lower front edges. Piece still displays beautifully and with full gloss. A very nice design of their oval portraits set within a pair of flags. See following two related items.
