Item Description
Hake #2027. 13/16" with union bug back stamp of maker J.B. Carroll, Chgo. In 1922, helped by the Kansas City, Missouri Democratic machine headed by boss Tom Pendergast, Truman was successful in his try for elective office in Jackson County. Button has young photo of him and reads "Harry S. Truman For Judge Eastern District." Button is in superb, essentially Mint condition. This button, when rarely offered, typically realizes $2500-$3000. This beautiful example opens most reasonably.
