This big celluloid features photos of "Adlai" and "Estes" which are the same as Hake #2001. This button has the added photo of "George" and a different slogan reading "The Team For You - Not Just The Few." This was issued for George Rhodes, Congressional candidate from Pennsylvania's 14th District in 1956. The reverse metal back has lost 15% of the silver flashing and of this 10% along the lower right edge has surface pitting of the metal. However, the celluloid remains totally stain free. The cello front has the most minor surface wear in reflected light and a small .25" air mark on Adlai's coat lapel. The button retains intense color and high gloss. Very few examples are known in the hobby. A top Stephenson rarity. Our only other example back in Auction #175 realized $1601. This opens conservatively.
