Item Description
This longtime collection consists of one tie-tack, one charm, three wooden nickels, ten litho buttons and 42 celluloid buttons. Sizes are from 11/16" to 1.75". 28 of the buttons include his photo plus two are the classic litho jugates and another showing Mamie. Better pieces include: Row 1 "Get Right With Ike" and brass golf ball tie-tack reading "The Ike Gold Championship Sponsored By The News 1959." Row 2 with black and white shaking hands civil rights theme reading "My Friend Ike." Row 3 pair of "Draft Eisenhower" although the text button is the only item in the group with faint age mark on the bkg. Row 4 has very nice elephant charm with rhinestones and metal tusks in white. Row 6 includes metallic gold state buttons for Delaware, Kansas, and Oregon. Condition of the group is Exc. to Mint. Assembled by a condition conscious collector over many years.
