Item Description
2-5/8" tall with stickpin top in brass reading "Farmer." Below a blue fabric reading "Governor" joins a second brass segment dated 1890. This in turn has a loop suspending shield with the name "Turner." Item relates to James M. Turner a mayor in Lansing in 1889 who ran for governor of Michigan in 1890 but lost to the GOP candidate. Couple tiny age dots on the ribbon but overall Extremely Fine with NM luster. Morry Greener Collection. Rare.
