4.75x17.25" tall figure of nude dancer wearing a small flap of cloth held by string about waist. Base is constructed out of a bonfire and dancer materializes out of flames which wrap up to mid-thigh level. She has gold arm and wristbands and a matching gold tiara w/flower-like earrings. Her forehead is adorned w/mark which may represent a jewel. Figure is anatomically correct but not visible under cloth. Small paint flakes and subsequent touchups to legs, some very ft. hairline cracks over body and a paint touchup to back of head. Extreme tip of hair and highest hand have had repair/touchup but these are not visible when viewed straight on. Bottom of base has two small .25" chips and a smaller 1/16" chip around bottom rim. c.1940s-early 1950s. An impressive and Exc. example.
