Item Description
Lot of four, all are c. early 1960s. Each thin artboard has India ink image area ranging in size from 9.25x10" to 9.25x11". Art is for Harvey Publications. Each is boldly signed by creator George Baker at bottom of image area. Numbers and scenes are: #32 Sarge being hit by Sad Sack’s burst potato bag; #42 Sarge being hit by pots above Sad Sack’s chopping block, Sarge’s nose squashed by Sad Sack’s accordion at campfire, Sarge hit in stomach by Sad Sack’s loose bowling bowl. All images also feature dog "Muttsy." All are boldly signed in ink at bottom by creator George Baker. A few margin pencil notes. Image area will mat and frame to Exc. appearance. Well drawn and funny.
