First edition 6.5x9.5" hardcover w/original dust jacket and 482 pages. Published by Regan Books, Stern's second book is ©1995 Howard Stern. The book's DJ features Stern dressed in drag, with the first edition back featuring a picture of Stern w/O.J. Simpson and "Howard Stern - Getting Away With Murder" text. This was changed in later printings. Book has been signed a total of 15 times. Endpapers again feature Stern in drag w/seven others of his circle also in drag. Front endpapers have been signed by Fred Norris, Stuttering John, Howard Stern, Robin Quivers, Gary Dell'Abate, Scott the Engineer and one other. Back endpapers have been signed by Jackie Martling, Mike Gange and one other. Throughout the book, Robin Radzinski, Stuttering John, Kenneth Keith Kalenbach and two others have signed. Kalenbach has since passed away. A week after its release, "Miss America" hit the top spot on the New York Times Best Seller list. In total, the book was on the list for more than four months, a period of 16 weeks in total. By the end of 1995, "Miss America" had sold 1,398,880 hardcover copies, making it the third best-seller of the year. DJ has slight face but book is o/w Exc. Comes with Hake's COA.
