Item Description
The stickpins are about 2.5" to 3" tall and there are two additional non-pin items. In order of our photo we have: "Try It" with kissing Dutch couple in enamel and reverse ad for "Linn's Holland Creamery Butter Chicago." Next is fat pig promoting "Swift." Embossed brass. Next with die-cut cow is "Creamery Package Mfg. Co." Next is "The Seal Of Goodness" with initials on the front and name on back of "Western Packing Co, Denver." Next is young girl with hat flying off riding a racing calf with a red stone eye accent. This has no text but is the logo of the company Butter-ine. Next is "Sugarloaf Canned Good Things" showing a walking anthropomorphic ear of corn carrying a corn stalk. Next shows farm woman with pail with reverse text, somewhat worn, for "Compliments Fox River Butter Company." Next is leaf design for "Lipton's Teas." Last two stickpins are figural for "Gorton's Fish Foods." And a European stickpin featuring a friendly bumblebee promoting "Kelloggs." The two non-stickpin items are a bronzed medallion with brass center showing barrel and reading "The Nat'l Creamery Buttermakers Ass'n." This is from early 1900s. Last is a brass shell reading "Beich's", this was a Bloomington, Illinois candy company and there are a couple of small brass tabs used to affix it to a package. All pieces are Exc. to Mint except as noted.
