Item Description
1.25" button used for a short time approx. Oct. 1964-Jan. 1965. A disc jockey sued McDonald's over the use of the name and the company terminated the character. Our thanks to Dave McBracken at www.McDClub.com for this information. This is a superb example displaying Mint. With the button comes an equally scarce 1-3/8" tin litho dexterity puzzle with plastic cover over two ball bearings to place in Archy's eyes. This has McDonald's Corp. 1964 trademark notice on the interior vertical edge. Hairline of paint off the underside rim. Image area is Mint. Our last button exceeded $100. This is the third seen, and our second seen puzzle.
