Item Description
In row 2 the two small buttons are 7/8". Vast majority of the buttons in the group are 1.25" or 1.75". The group begins with four dated buttons all for the month of "October" but for the years 1924 through 1927 with captions in order for "Peanuts/Peanuts/Garden Products/Agriculture." Tiny bit of age on the final one. In row 2 we begin with Carlisle Fair 1915, Rice County Minnesota Fair 1915, Grand Forks Fair North Dakota 1922, Nebraska State Fair 1929, Iowa State Fair, Shelby County 1935. In row 3 we have three buttons depicting a horse but these are from Iowa, North Carolina, and Mississippi. Next are a pair of same design buttons one marked for Illinois State Fair while the other simply reads "State Fair." This has a few gray marks. In row 3 are five multicolor buttons all from the "N.Y. State Fair Syracuse." One shows covered wagon, one shows race horses, and three show an Indian. In the bottom row we have South Dakota 1944 Victory Fair, New Mexico State Fair, Meadowlands Fair in 1951, and "Orange County Fair/Santa Ana" undated but c. 1950. Vast majority display Mint except as noted.
