Item Description
Both are from 1942. Each thin artboard has 5x20" image area. #2160 from Aug. 6 titled "Every Nazi For Himself!" has three panels w/Nazi planes being fired on by Allied planes, including Barney’s sidekick pilot Gopher Gus. #2202 from Sept. 24 titled "Grounded Spirits!" has Barney and Gopher Gus in all four panels concerned about missing "Sky Demons" pilot friends. Each strip is signed by artist Frank Miller in last panel. Both are Exc. Superb ink work. From the Jan Wahl Collection.
