2" dia. with silvering on the front and back case about 97% complete. Top has movable loop affixed to a 8" chain and metal piece served to slip over a belt. This piece displays sunburst and Magellan's ship at bottom, at midsection is bi-wing plane and above this is a zeppelin and cloud design. The dial features world globe overprinted by large "Zep." The hands and numerals have a coating of material that probably once glowed in the dark but no longer does. The dial is totally clean and the watch is running and keeping time although not guaranteed over a 24 hour period. The edge of the front case has inscriptions "Lakehurst/Friedrichshafen/Tokio/Los Angeles." Back of the case is titled at top "Trail Blazers." Below this is a scene of the "Graf Zeppelin" flying above ocean and clouds which include three sailing ships and a small airplane. Additional small text reads "Around The World/Magellan/1519-1522-Time About 3 Yrs." At the top of the watch is the specification for the Zep which is "1929 Time 21 Days." Most luster is off the movable loop and winding stem but the piece still displays beautifully and NM. Very scarce.
