Item Description
These are all 1.25" except for the center 1.5" button reading "Come Again Pat. Corrigan." Two additional Corrigan buttons flank this one. The one on the left is a quite scarce real photo. The one on the right has very faint perimeter air marks. In the top row first item is from 1928 picturing "Wilmer Stultz" and his "Seaplane Friendship." His flight took him from Newfoundland to South Wales. Next are a matching pair showing Trans-Atlantic pilot Clarence Chamberlain and his passenger Charles Levine. The Chamberlain button has couple of light age dots near the top and tiny bit on the rim which blends. Last in row 1 shows the east to west "Trans-Atlantic Heroes" on their 1928 commemorative flight button. Pictured are "Koehl/Von Huensfeld/Fitzmaurice." In the bottom row is a rare button showing famed pilot "Wiley Post" wearing his eye patch. Later he and will Rogers met their deaths flying in Alaska. Last is young photo of "Howard Hughes" before the days of his later eccentricities and just after his achievement of flying "Around The World In 4 Days." All items are Exc. to Mint except as noted.
