Auction #206 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1278 in auction 206
Item Description
1.75". Reverse once had fixed horizontal pin now gone and replaced by spring pin. Reverse has .75" line where celluloid was too short to fold under the collet and from the front this makes a hairline crease on the far right edge but otherwise piece is quite clean with just a little age tone over the cream bkg. Shown is early horse drawn pumper surrounded by text "C. M. Leonard Sept. 24th 1904." This equipment would have once been housed on Water Street in a firehouse built in 1878. The company was named after local businessman and fireman. VF. Rare.
