Item Description
2-1/8" with backpaper by maker W&H. Front text reads "Greensboro, North Carolina/Gilford County/1808-1908." Text below is "General Nathanael Greene/Centennial And Homecoming." Four surrounding scenes are of "Gilford Battleground 1781/Gilford Court House/State Normal College/Proximity Mills." Slight fade and faint tan age marks on the narrow red outer circle. Design area is clean. Light wear and some gold lettering loss on the ribbons with the text "Education/Good Roads/Manufacturers/Oct. 11-17, 1908." Only our second seen and the first complete with the ribbons. Fine.
