Item Description
In 1947 General Mills offered one of the most popular premium rings ever created. Ring base has jagged design and burst to represent the action of atoms. The idea was to remove the red plastic end cap and expose the interior compartment to light and then in the dark see flashing atoms although the half life of the interior material was so brief that this function ceased to work very quickly although the interior of the ring does retain a nice glow after light exposure. Ring base has lost luster but overall clean, bright brass color. The plaster end cap is not cracked as so often happened. VF.
