Item Description
Attributed to Tom Wood. 9.5x12" sheet of animation paper has image area done in lead and blue colored pencil showing Donald Duck wearing sombrero and playing the guitar as he and Basil the Burro serenade Donna Duck in the moonlight. Sheet music is on cactus in foreground. From 1937 Donald Duck cartoon, his first starring role as well as the first appearance of Donna Duck, Donald's girlfriend who would eventually become Daisy Duck. Lt. handling and aging, tiny bit of paper tape on two blank margin edges. Image area clean w/Exc. art. One couldn't ask for a better scene showing Donald and Donna, early in their careers. A classic!
