Item Description
See previous lot for background information. Each of these is 1.75". Reverses have some minor oxidation/rust but the fronts are extremely clean with the exception of three or four that have just the tiniest traces of tone on the white backgrounds. Dates on these range between Jan. 13, 1944 and Sept. 21, 1944. Among the more interesting ship names are: Hanging Rock, Santiago, Esso Utica, Fort Cumberland, Esso Camden, Marine Walrus, Marine Beaver, and Black Jack.
