Item Description
Lot of twelve, 10.5x13" magazines published monthly by Detective Stories Publishing Co. from Jan. 1938-Oct. 1941. Issues include: Vol.1 No.3, 8; Vol.3 No.5-6,10-12; Vol.4 No.5, 12 (next issue is Jun. 1941 and is marked Vol.4 No.2); Vol.5 No.4, 6. Issues feature large 7x9.5" bw photo recreation of crime. Some highlights include: woman fighting off knife attack, man coming out of bush at woman and gun moll. Four out of lot have pencil lettering in upper left hand corner. Books have moderate wear including pinch creases to spine and dust soiling. Pages have tanned with age and are brittle. Fine.
