Very well made heavy brass measuring 2-1/8x4x.75" deep. We don't see any maker's name but the piece is c. early 1950s. Brass surfaces both inside and out are covered in patterns of various designs. One cover lifts up to reveal opening for five cigarettes. A push button on the side of the piece causes opposite side to spring open revealing mirror and powder area with puff although the piece apparently never held powder as it is totally clean. At one end of the piece is a brass tube which pulls out to hold lipstick. There are no contents but the slide to move the tube is in working order. A quality piece with about 99.8% glossy original brass luster.
