Item Description
1.75" with backpaper by Baltimore Badge. This superbly designed button features nine female heads floating just above the blue ocean water while in the distance is a single sailboat. The sky above the scene reads "Brooklyn/Coney Island/Arverne." The text surrounding the scene "Swimming Taught In Six Lessons By Mac Levy Quick Trolley System." We consider this among our top ten non-political buttons ever produced. The only other example known to us appears in the color plate section of Hake's Collectible Pin-back Buttons 1896-1986. NM and displaying Mint.
