Item Description
1.25" real photo sepia without dot pattern with Baltimore Badge paper c. 1901. Bostock was known as the "Animal King" and toured the country with his animals during the early 1900s including Coney Island, New York City, and World's Fairs such as Buffalo 1901. On this button his chimp "Consul" sits in a chair fully dressed in shirt, vest, jacket, and pants with a cigar in his mouth. Exc. and displays Mint. Scarce.
