Item Description
4.25" tall ribbon badge. Silver luster on the embossed brass hanger with cello insert "Welcome P.O. of A./Atlantic City, N.J., Oct. 21-22, 1913." Below a flag ribbon suspends 1.75" tin rim holding superb and incredibly detailed photo of the magnificent structure extending from the boardwalk in the foreground into the ocean in the bkg. Numerous strollers on the boardwalk and bathers on the beach can be seen and under magnification a large sign appears on the side of the building "Filapino Band." Back paper by Shaw, Phila. Rare and NM.
