Item Description
Artist and publisher of comic related publications Denis Kitchen produced his earliest buttons in 1973. Each of these is 2.25". This group includes the first six buttons he produced. Next in the numbered series begins with Betty Boop club #53. #54 is a reissue of a button commissioned by Ted Hake which included his then York Pa address and business name. The original issue does not include the number "54" as this one does. The remaining buttons are numbered 55, 56, 57, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 67, 69, 70, and the last appears to be unnumbered. Button 70 and lower were all produced between 1973-1975. Numerous artists are represented including Skip Williamson, Bill Griffith, Robert Crumb and others.
