Auction #206 - Part II
Item numbers 1279 through 2976 in auction 206
Item Description
1-5/8" litho tin button has water stained ribbon suspended by the bar pin. Text on ribbon reads "CMQ Radio" with a time that appears to read "12:30p.m." The button is inscribed "Luis Dragon/Capitan/Conquistadores Del Espacio." Pictured is a Buck Rogers styled rocket ship featuring an antenna on top with tiny accent lines while in the bkg. seem to be a pair of floating clouds. From what we have learned this was apparently a Flash Gordon inspired program broadcast over the Havana, Cuba radio station. Button does show a number of tiny dots of wear but overall condition remains Fine. A rarity and the only example we've seen.
