Item Description
This c. 1952 ring stands 1.25" tall and consists of a frame on the top holding a revolving disc that produces a loud siren sound when blown into. Lower part of the ring is the band that fits around the finger and the bottom of this has a large oval plate with the words executed in the distinctive TV show type font "Space Patrol Siren." Plate design includes two tiny star-shaped accents and lower edge has very tiny spire representing a futuristic building top. Vast majority of the copper-colored luster remains and is the best we've seen on the three examples known to us. The small segment joining the top and bottom parts has tiny word "Japan." The distinctive type face of the words "Space Patrol" lead us to believe this was a show-authorized ring. NM and works easily to produce a loud siren sound. Rare.
